What is now R&J Drugs was started in the early 1950's. Mr. Robinson and Mr. Jumper established the pharmacy in North, SC. Later, in March of 1965, R&J was bought by Paul Owens, and was operated by Service Drugs, Inc. Purchased in September, 1991 by Bernard Gunter, R&J Drugs has continued to serve North. In 2004, R&J drugs was bought by H&M Heathcare, Inc. and is run by them today.
